Thank you Hans and the board for inviting me to the manufacturer's forum.

I hope if anyone has a question of me, that they feel free to do so.

And if any other manufacturers feel like collaborating, I'm open to discussion. Did that sound presumptuous? I hope not, but one never knows.

Phil, welcome to the manu's forum.

That did not sound presumptuous at all. 8)

I actually had a question re: your the neck guards. Do you suggest the 2" model over the 1.5" model to your customers? Have you found a difference in protection (besides the obvious fact that it is slightly shorter)?

Thanks!!

Hans

I have the 2" and I was originally afraid that it would be restrictive and I have found that it is not at all.

I'm looking at getting a collar combo. How is the flexibility of the collar when looking down?

No issues when looking down, at least for myself.

Excellent. It's not joke when it is said that you may forget that you have it on.
I will tell you that you WILL Notice if you Don't however :)
It definitely gives me a feeling of security. I forgot it in the room once and actually stopped to go put it on...I Felt Nekkid!

Facts:

**Tends to be the most protective and flexible of the neck protection out there.

Guys with 18" necks and above, tend to be better served by the 1.5", otherwise, I recommend 2" to customers asking.

** Had to include a caveat. (How does one speak positively about ones products without sounding pompous??)

P.S. I also have 8 years in of this gel protecting people with a fairly high approval. Not to say, there haven't been the odd "unhappy" customer in that time.

Mr Maltese - Compared to the pictures on your site, where/how much more coverage does the sternum pad provide??
Thanks!!

Smith35--

The sternum pad is butted up against the bottom of the ClavPad and extends down 4" down and covers the sternum and solar plexus--in most cases.

If you go to GSBB and search "Maltese Combo" I know there are pix of hroak's Combo w/sternum.

Thanks Phil!! I thought I'd seen it somewhere, perhaps my "search" skills are slipping.

I believe this is the thread referred to, as it does contain pics with the sternum pad.

Cool thanks. I didn't go past the first page in that thread as it was Sorthong's thread.

I think that's why I didn't see it in my initial search.
