Forgot to post this one here. I finally picked up my new Vapor 300 Mask painted by Doug at Weaselhead with his "Show-Stopper Paintjob". First off let me state that I know there are a lot of people out there that don't like detailed masks. They want to be able to make out the design from the stands. Well this mask is not for the people in the stands. This one is for me and me alone. My Cubberly will have a design on it that will be very distinguishable from far away to make those people happy. So please don't judge the design in that regard as Doug delivered exactly what I was looking for.

Next let me state how sorry I feel for Doug. I gave the guy a very arduous task with an extremely detailed design. I'm sure he feels he could draw the Mona Lisa on a grain of rice at this point. After I saw the 300 in the theaters I knew right away I wanted to use it as a theme for my Vapor mask. The problem is there are so many memorable scenes from the 300 that I loved. I just couldn't narrow it down to 2 or 3, so Doug got stuck with an extremely elaborate layout with like 10 scenes on it. I think that's a new record for depiction on a goalie mask, but Doug did an incredible job bringing this design to life. It looks very stunning and you can tell he put a ton of time into it. We still have another step that we want to try, but I wanted to take some pix of this baby before hand just in case the final step doesn't work out the way we hope. Anyways, without further ado I give you my the 300 Vapor mask:

**Note: I wear #00 hence no "3" + the grey ribbon for brain tumor research. I've had many friends suffer from this lately including Jim. Also in the photo you can get a good look at Doug's "Outsider Straps" and how much area they free up for your paintjob**

Mask details:
* Custom molded Pro's Choice Vapor mask
* larger Kolzig style face opening with elongated cage
* no chin holes (for greater paint area)
* 2 holes on forehead instead of 4 (for greater paint area)
* soon to have croc foam with chin sling
* Weaselhead custom Outsider Straps (for greater paint area)
* Weaselhead Show-Stopper Paintjob

Well Ron has done it again, and has sent me a couple of teaser pics of my new mask and paint job. I will do a full review on both when I get the mask in a week or so. But I just had to share the pictures now :D

I just picked up my mask for Matt at the Promasque goalie barn. He makes the mask and also has a paint section too PROMASQUE PaintShop

When talking to Matt about my new design I told him what I kind of wanted a cross between this 2 Grant Fuhr masks!

And this is what he came up with, Matt was real easy to deal with and made sure it was everything I wanted in a mask and paint job

Found a Cubberly on the bay a few weeks back, cleaned off the old paint job and repadded it. I've wanted one of these since I saw the letter "C" on a mask for the first time. Thanks to Ed for the hardware, straps and foam.
