I got this email from my coach about a junior showcase in N.Y. It only costs $95 for 3 days of ice plus they tell you what scouts are going to be there before you go so you dont drive out for nothing if there isnt anybody you want to talk to. Its the same weekend as select festival in Mich. Thats fun and you meet people but I think this would be different people mostly. Two Ohio guys and 3 Mich. are part of the ones setting it up so maybe Traverse and Alpena would be there so they would see me anyway. Plus the Ohio and NY people and whoever else comes.
This is supposed to be a short learn how this works kind of thing and they have a bigger one in May. Im thinking itd be cool just for the experience. I like to see how this stuff works and meet people and stuff. Thats why I started doing the clinic here. Because it was a new place and new people and not really expensive.
So I put my name in and I have like a week to back out before we have to pay anything. And they have a team sponser bus from Cleveland that I might be able to get on and not cost so much to drive.
So what do you think? Should I go just to try something different and you never know? Otherwise Id go to selects, so why not try this right?
